The ministries of this church is integral to our mission in reaching souls for the kingdom. Whether you are a child or an adult you will want to become involved where your spiritual needs can be fulfilled and where you can share what God has done in your life.

Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting

Our weekly prayer meeting is an effective way for everyone to feel personally connected to our church family and to learn and grow our faith in an intimate and supportive atmosphere.  Our desire is to openly share our understanding of biblical principles that will make us steadfast in our faith.

The meetings are held at Pleasant Grove A.M.E Zion church in a comfortable setting where everyone feels welcome and encouraged to participate in the discussion.

  Bible Studies

   Our evangelism team provides one-on-one bible studies that      are tailored to meet individual needs.

Youth Ministries

Our youth ministries provide opportunities for our young people to share in the mission of our Church that will help them to use their energy and commitment for God in finding activities that are character-building and soul winning;

Our youth ministries consist of:

  • The Adventist youth society with nature activities, witnessing experiences, serving others and building relationships.

  • The Adventurer club for the early years

  • Pathfinder club for junior years into adulthood

Community Service Ministry

The objective of Unity Seventh Day Adventist Church Community Service Ministry is to be a community based, visible church in the Concord area of North Carolina.

Our primary focus is to understand the needs of the residents of the Concord area through the use of a community survey and to provide Christ centered ministries to meet the needs we uncover in order to be an effective asset to the community in Christ’s name.

We are developing and hope to provide referrals to assist those in need of food, clothing and other needs uncovered in the church and the community.  As followers of Jesus Christ, we will serve the community with compassion, love and joyous service in order to reveal the character of God.

We are meeting the needs of the Mallard Creek Elementary School by providing school supplies, food for the homeless children who attend the school and tutors to help the children attain grade level proficiency.

It is our prayer that as we grow, more members will be called to assist in this ministry.  It is the appointed time to finish the Lord’s work.
